Folding forms the practical element of Howard's doctoral study, Manifold. In this series, 'banal' and 'everyday' architectural features, including the white walls of a gallery, the black walls of a film projection room and the corners of an artist studio become sites of transformation. Through a cyclical process of folding, cutting, (re)photographing and installation, photographic prints are presented as extensions and 'modifications' of these interior spaces.
