Made in response to philosopher and art critic John Ruskin's famous quote, When We Build Let us Think That We Build Forever is a site-specific photograph installed in the entrance of the Holden Gallery (Manchester, UK) in 2019. Rephotographed several times, the space is transformed into multiple layers and folds becoming a kind of photographic palimpsest.
This photograph was awarded the Plaque Prize (Manchester School of Art, UK).
