Metamorphic forms part of a broader research project that explores the photographic representation of marble. This work reflects on the virtualisation and digitisation of marble and its reproduction in the form of plaster, and more recently 3D print. It uses stock images of marble with aspects of paper design, 3D modelling, photography, and sculpture to explore processes of transformation, generation, and translocation, and a sense of ’one-material-becoming-another’.
